Purpose:
The Major Project Grant is a one-time grant intended for substantial funding of specific, innovative, classroom-level endeavors. This includes multi-class projects that impact individual classroom instruction. Items purchased with grant money belong to the school.

Qualifications:
Applicant must be a teacher or administrator within a school in Grand Count,y within the state of Utah, grades K-12. Items purchased with grant money belong to the school. All recipients agree to submit an Accountability Form within 90 days of receipt of awarded funds or as directed by the Foundation Board.

Guidelines:

  • Priority will be given to grants which cover core curriculum materials that will be used by and for the students.
  • Project must meet a need and justify the amount of funding requested.
  • Project must directly involve and benefit students.
  • Audio/visual equipment will only be funded if the teacher/school has exhausted its media center budget.
  • Judging of projects will be based upon criteria outlined on this form.

Deadline & Notification:
The deadline for Major Project Grants is the last day of each quarter.  . Teachers will be notified of acceptance or denial within 45 days of the end of the quarter. For example, all applications received by June 30, will be notified by August 15.

Please submit an application package using the following format.  You must respond to ALL of the following items.  Incomplete package will not be considered for review.

5. Provide specific examples of quantifiable benefits resulting from the project.
